a bit confused..

How come no one picked up on Aiko's bruises? She was just walking around in public with a red eye and marks on her face, wouldn't that have even caused the slightest bit of concern amongst the people around her? Don't get me started on her missing tooth either and the marks around her lips I mean I get it's a psychological manga but I found this bit that no one picked up on it concerning and confusing
