Design Space blurs images

First time user. I've been trying to print stickers through design space. And after trial and error with my printer. I finally got it printing in high quality. And then I tried to print in design space using print then cut. I drew a high resolution image and stuck it in Google drawings to test it out. And I printed it through printer dialogue and it worked really well and I got good results. Then I stuck the same file into Design Space and ran it through print then cut. And it came out super blurry. I removed the bleed option, still super blurry. I tried changing settings in printer dialogue, super blurry. All the fixes I see talk about using complex image options. Which aren't available anymore? Or downloading it as a pdf and sticking the original image over top and printing it somewhere else. Is that the only option? Does design space just suck and is hopeless?
