Can I get Warcraft 3 Reforged for free if I have the digital copy of the original non remastered version and I don't care about the improved graphics?

I read somewhere they said if you have the cd keys (mine is a digital purchase from Battlenet store instead of physical disc) you can claim the cd keys or something and be able to play reforged with other players minus the improved graphic?
