Purchasing Google Play US credits as a gift from another country?

I want to buy redeemable Google Play credit for a friend that lives in United States, I don't live in United State myself. I searched the the Internet and found MyGiftCardSupply.com which asked me to upload my government ID and photo, and that's a no-no from from me.

Has anyone used a legitimate and safe website to purchase Google Play credits as a gift for someone in another country?

TIA
