Romance Confidants

hello, i'm new to playing Persona5 and i just learned that you can romance most of the female confidants. is it ok to put them all in rank 9 then make a new save file just so i can experience firsthand their romance routes? since i also learned that there's "punishment" scene for romanticizing them all and only choosing one for valentines. or is it just fine to romance them all in one playthrough?

ps. i'm choosing Makoto first 🫶
