Programming theory subjects are really boring to me

General

BCA 3rd-year student here, and I’ve been noticing this since my first year: programming is WAY too much fun to learn practically, but when it comes to theory exams and actually studying the theory, I suck at it 😭

It just gets so boring. I even have to write code on paper sometimes during exams 😭, which is even worse because I completely forget how to code when it comes to writing it on paper.

There are some subjects, like Networking and IoT, that I actually found interesting even in theory, but that’s about it.

Is there any way to make programming theory more interesting to learn?
