41K TDS Late Fee for Flat Purchase – Has Anyone Faced This in Bangalore?

Hey, we recently purchased a flat in one of the properties of Mana Skanda, Bangalore, in March 2026. We missed filing the TDS, which has been pending since May, and now they’re asking us to pay a late fee of around 41K.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? If so, could you please let me know how you handled it or if there’s any way to get the late fee reduced or waived?
