Realistic list of MBA programs to apply to

Profile Review

Hi fellas, I am currently preparing for R2 and have created a list of reach/core/safety. Would love to hear some advices for this list.

Background:

  • 32F from east Asia (non China,Korea), 10 ys work experience YOE
  • GMAT FE: 675
  • Undergraduate: Full ride scholarship at a top 3 univeristy in my country.
  • GPA: 2.67 (converted to 4.0 scale). Note: Undergrad was plagued by severe burnout from a hyper-competitive early academic system, leading me to prioritize extracurriculars. I did not have any health or personal issues.
  • Other course works:
    • HBS CORE Pass with Honor
    • 2x on campus Engineering Credit Classes with A-
  • Current Industry: AM in local tech company
  • Post MBA goal: BD in international scale tech companies

Here is my MBA lists:

Reach: GSB(both MSx and MBA) / Sloan / Kellog

Core: HAAS/ Duke

Safety: NUS/ SOM/ Ross

I'm not including any EU programs in my list just out of personal preference.

My Questions:

  1. How much will my 2.67 undergrad GPA anchor me down, even with my HBS CORe and engineering grades proving academic readiness?
  2. Is my school distribution realistic? Any blind spots in my list?
