Flashlight recommendations for someone who’s never bought one

Hi everyone. I just bought a travel trailer and am looking for a strong flashlight. I don’t think I’ve literally ever bought a flashlight myself so I have no idea where to start. Something that has a long battery life, is bright enough to take a look at the car/trailer exterior in the pitch black, search for something lost on the ground, etc, but is also not too heavy. I’ve seen a bunch on Amazon but not sure that’s the best place to get one and the amount of options is overwhelming. Budget of up to ~$60. Thanks in advance!
