Trying to seed something I didn't download from magnet link

Im super new to this. Forgive me, im going to explain the best i can

version 5.2.3

I was looking for something online. Found a magnet link. no matter what i did it reads "downloading metadata seeds: 0(5) peers: 0(1). The numbers sometimes changes but nothing happens.

Luckily for me, there were other links to download the files via Mega. I did so, but now want to provide a seed for others if i can. From what i do understand i need to match the file structure. so i went and i found it on the site i initially got the magnet link from. I tried to match it exactly, then tried to right click set location. but i can't get qbittorent to actually start seeding. Still stuck on the metadata thing as if it were trying to download.

Any way i can start seeing this? thank you.
