Game no work??

alright so I've got two issues here, having just installed Ubuntu last night

1. My steam games that I reinstalled after the OS change are refusing to work, and I can't uninstall to move or just move some things that might help the games work (they're installing on my external drive and not my internal)

2. My USB (256gb, Samsung) isn't being registered and seen in the file explorer

anything I could do to fix this?
