First fitbit for chronic pain, why is my RHR and HRV so poor?

Discussion

I (25F) got my first Fitbit in July to try and track my sleep to help address my chronic nerve and joint pain (hip, back, neck, and wrist pain usually keep me up all night and hurt every day.) I am a college student and I work full time on top of the pain I’m always in, so I don’t work out very much. I’ve had a lot of success helping my sleep, but no matter how much sleep I get, my readiness score is almost always below 60. Most days I average 30-40. My RHR and HRV average “fair” and “poor” every day. Most of the resources I’ve found online have said that this is due to doing extraneous workouts or consuming too much alcohol or caffeine, but I don’t regularly do any of those things. I am tired every single day but don’t have any formal diagnosis as to why. I would like to be more active, but I don’t know what to make of these scores telling me that I need to rest and NOT push myself almost every day.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this cause for concern or am I just a tired college student?
