18+ content creator needing advice - Location: Canada and US

Hello,

I work in the online world in Location: Canada and I post 18+ videos online. A user on the paywalled website I post on circumvented the security measures and scraped the website for over 600 of my videos and has now created a website with no way to remove dmcas and posted all my videos for free and is also making money off the website (not off my videos specifically but people can pay for it to be ad free so they are making money off of them in a way)

I have access now with the help of the website I post to who found out this users legal name, address, cc info ect and I want to present it to a lawyer to help me sue this person for illegally taking my 18+ videos and posting them online without my consent.

My issue is, I’m in Canada, the user who did this is in the United States. What kind of lawyer do I need? It’s confusing enough hiring a lawyer but hiring someone for this situation specifically is really tricky and any advice you have would be so appreciated.

Edit: I also want to go after the domain holder and hold them responsible for allowing someone to host a website that’s going against DMCA laws since the person who created the website 1. Doesn’t care about the law and 2. Didn’t put any way for people to enforce DMCA to them and request a video be removed
