Does the dog count as a cop?

I do a series where I review movies purely on how good the dogs are

All dogs get a minimum of 11/10 unless they're a cop. If they're a cop, they get 10/10 with the explanation "dog good cop bad it all evens out"

I'm gonna watch The Beast of Mossy Bottom tomorrow, and I'm on the fence about whether this particular dog functions as a cop within the sheep's world
