Cream Colored Wallpaper

Cream Colored Wallpaper

Forget shimmer of Golden Apple
Your talk about how the houses steal you
Hold you in their sleek streamlined prisons
Pain in morning till nothing hurts again
To live as this adjusted reflection
When torture of Autumn in upon us
Patiently change the photographic plate
Presume to find oneself in the world
Flinching, dying insect lost in haystack
A drop of attention is mercy
A drill bit running its way through earth
To remain useless as cream colored wallpaper
