Cheapest way to program 9th gen key remote

Hi all, I have a 2012 EX and I just want to program the remote on a blank key to remotely lock the car/unlock. I don't care for the immobilizer or cutting the key. What's the cheapest way to get it paired to the car? I tried some procedure I found online with cycling the working key in the ignition to put it in programming mode but it did not work. Thanks
