I can't figure out if my calorie intake for a body recomp is right

Other

I'm 5'11, Male, 185lbs, around 25%BF (According to RENPHO smart scale)

My current intake is 2200, aiming to hit 165g+ of protein. (My goal weight is 158lbs)

Im trying to build more muscle as I lose fat, I currently lift 4x a week with boing training on the other two days and one rest day, I also have a very active job and on my feet walking around alot and easilly get around 8k-10k steps.

I assumed a Body recomp is eating in a slight cal deficit, lifting and eating high protein, but looking around I might have my cals too low?

I've tried multiple different body recomp calculators (the first ones that come up when you google the term) and they're teeling me around 2500-2600 cals per day, but according to some calculators that number would cause me to gain weight

I think I may be conufsed on how to do a recomp and would love any and all advice
