Appointment set

Had my initial consultation today and my procedure is set for December 2nd, which is the first day of my work “weekend”.

I wfh, sitting at a desk for 8 hrs, with the usual two breaks and a lunch. I’m concerned about needing extra time off to heal and how sitting for that long could/will hinder the process.

I also live alone in an apt with a dog. So I’ll be dealing with that too.

Has anyone asked their doctor to approve extra time off from work before or right after the procedure? I’m pretty sure my employer will require it and id like to be as prepared as possible.

I also feel like I’m just feeling the anxiety of it all. lol

Oh…and I’m looking to purchase the UFM briefs but being a bigger guy, I was wondering how comfortable they are? Overall, I’m seeing a lot of positive reviews.
