I made a site for exploring historical Winnipeg Police calls

Hey! I previously built https://wfps.redspectrum.ca for tracking live WFPS incidents, and I’ve now made a similar site for historical Winnipeg Police calls:

https://wps.redspectrum.ca

You can pick a day, browse calls by neighborhood and type, replay the map hour by hour, and compare call volumes with a typical day.

It uses publicly available WPS data. It isn’t live, map dots aren’t exact locations, and calls for service don’t necessarily mean a crime occurred. Just an independent project, not affiliated with WPS or the City.

Would love to hear what you think or what you’d find useful!
