Just saw the movie. It’s really weird but still good.

Takes inspiration from the stings, but otherwise takes very heavy creative liberties.

Pattinson was great but it’s really a parody almost. It seems intentional. It works if you look at this being essentially a comedy movie of sorts. I’m still laughing just remembering the scene of him on the floor almost using his Batman voice to respond to his producer. “I’m not leaving”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It’s a funny movie, in my view it’s not even meant to be taken seriously considering how different the portrayal is from Chris. The voice is spot on though. Pattinson is always a good time though.

Skyler Gisondo seriously deserves an Oscar nomination though. Incredible work as Decoy Dan.

Is it a slander film against Chris, depending on how you look at it the answer is a heavy yes. Does it sympathize with predators like the documentary from last year? No. Thank goodness for that. To me it’s essentially borderline a parody really if you know the facts.
