I am only looking for advice on how to survive being house poor nothing else

Hi guys I am escaping a very abusive situation.

There are no shelters that take my animals.

Ive called all of the ones around and in my area.

I have some items I am absolutely not willing to part with. They are extremely meaningful.

Anyways I am closing on a house. Cheapest one I could fine. I know i am going to be house poor. I anticipated this.

I am already going to eat basic meals and skip meals.

I wont go out except for hiking (lots of hikable areas around me)

Will pick up extra shifts and another job.

It will be hard but this is very meaningful to me and this house is perfect (yes I did a full inspection WITH MY OWN INSPECTOR).

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH BRING HOUSE POOR? WHAT TIPS DO YOU RECOMMEND?
