Is VF TUNER Legititimate?

Title: VF Tuner appears to be offering a "VF Tuner Pro Upgrade - GR86 TCM Tuning" for around 225$ as an optional upgrade for their other GR86 tuning kit, which goes for around 399 for a phone/laptop only or 449 for both.

Is this legit and safe? I've mainly heard of COBB and EcuTek, and I was planning on a Boosted Performance or similar EcuTek tune within the next 3-4 months, as I am adding JDL Catless UEL's, a 2.5" JDL Overpipe, a JDL High-Flow Front Pipe, and a GR Performance Air Intake.

Is VF Tuner legit able to tune the Automatic Transmission? I was originally looking at upgrading my AT a little bit, (For quicker shifts/better performance over sustained driving), and from what I could find, the only real transmission modifications would be a new Valve Body, Clutch Packs, or an ATF Cooler. So now that I've found out about this, I'm just trying to decide what direction to go for a tune at this point, between EcuTek and VF.

Does anyone have any advice on tuning the new ZN8 platform twins? I'm very open to learning more, and doing alot of this myself, I'm just struggling to see where to start to be honest
