Any pleasant experiences with quitting?
The last time I stopped wasn’t necessarily pleasant, but I got away for a week and was able to lay around, sleep a lot, watch shows, play the piano, and spend a couple few hours with family each of those days. I drank a lot of broth as I had no appetite- but also some chocolate. I significantly reduced my caffeine intake. I had mentally prepared myself for stopping - though smoked right up to the last minute. Any way - if you can do it, I suggest it.
This time around I’m in a new relationship and we live together and that happened way to quick but it is what it is, I’m working a new job, I’m in a place I used to live years ago, and I’m just trying to keep everything together while being sober and it’s so much harder. How the hell can I keep from sabotaging good things in my life while recovering from cannabis use disorder? I’m my own worst enemy.
