Favorite propagation method?

I can keep my rexes alive, but I cannot seem to figure out how to propagate. I tried putting one cutting in soil/perlite with a dome and it sprouted within two weeks, but the other two I tried died. I’ve put cuttings in water but it’s been almost a month and no roots. Every single leaf I’ve ever put in moss or dirt has molded or rotted extremely quickly, even if it wasn’t that damp. How do you do it?
