Questions for those of you with chatrooms to communicate between headmates

Questions

Hi it’s me, the creature in your walls, back with another set of questions I wanna ask out of curiosity: for those of you who use sites like Discord or dedicated plural chat sites to communicate between headmates…

  1. Why? Im curious of the specific reason your system needs that to communicate with one another (like for example not being able to do so in the headspace), or if it might be a preference thing over necessity.

  2. How? What do you use to distinguish who’s who? Do you have multiple chatrooms for diff topics/different headmates? Do you use bots to label yourselves? How do you take turns entering messages?

  3. How well does it work? Are you able to communicate well using this? Is it fast? Does it create any problems for you?

I ask because I’ve been sent screenshots by one of my friend systems displaying their chat and spoke to another about it, so it’s got me wondering how this generally works. Im sure the answers are absolutely not the same for everyone, but I’d like to know!
