Egoistic Professor

Sorry to rant here on this subreddit, I know that I can raise my concern somewhere else. Anyway, I have this professor who is an Architect, already a senior citizen. I am a freshie, but this prof is something else towards freshmen and i don't know if this prof likes to give people a hard time especially yung students niya but from the past few months ever since class has started, I can't help but notice that prof's toxic personality.

The prof barely gives any lecture and mainly gives assignments, tbh I barely learned from that prof, it was mainly self-study. Kaya lang rin kami natututo is when she gives us an assessment after ng plate namin—which for me is unfair—kasi may challenges yung plate and we don't know since wala naman siyang sinasabi and wala kaming sapat na knowledge, there sasabihin niya "anyare class? didn't I teach you this?" and ang bababa ng scores namin, often times that prof only commends and is close with the one who can get the highest grade. How about the others who are being left behind?

Now here comes the part that is related to the title, this prof of mine compares themself to us—a licensed, professional senior ar., and already has their own firm compare themselves to us??? That we should be this and that? Saying that they have high expectations that should be met. Lagi ko rin naririnig yung "look at me guys, I'm already a senior but look at my work", "look at me this and that blablabla, etc." Excuse me, it's only been 3 months and during those 3 months all I heard was pressure and full of expectations. Most of the time rin kapag may ibang prof sa room, that prof praises us tapos kapag wala nang tao, ano? "tinuro ko na yan, dapat alam niyo na yan."

This prof always praises themself kasi daw they had great mentors, so parang sinasabi niya na isa rin siyang great. Nambabagsak pero hindi naman informative, para kasing gusto niya kaming nagkakamali para matututo, hindi talaga nagtuturo before activity tapos sasabihin "ano nangyari?" NAKAKAFRUSTRATEEEE. ang unfair kasi affected grades namin dahil ang baba magbigay.

I did not enroll here at NU para mafeel kong nilalait ako at madown sa mga bagay na hindi ko pa alam. Kaya ako nandito para matuto, hindi maikumpara sa mga kagaya niyo na professional na. Di rin sana ako magrereklamo ng ganito if nasa 2nd or 3rd year na 'ko, kaso 1st year and 1st term pa lang. Talagang bobo pa kami at walang kaalam alam🥲.
