Walk between T4 & T5 during Construction?

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone has had experience walking between terminals 4 and 5 with the current construction going on. I know the website recommends against it, but I've heard mixed things about how easy/diffucult it is to do. I'm aware it must be landside, just hoping to get a T4 lounge visit in, and don't want to deal with the airtrain more than I already have to if the walk is easy. Thanks!
