AirPods 5 or 4 - Mic isolation

My current AirPod Gen 2s pick up a heavy amount of background noise as I live in a busy city. Conversations of people beside me, cars, etc.

I’m considering upgrading as these AirPods have earned their retirement. Is the microphone isolation on the newer versions much improved so I can walk/commute and talk on the phone?
