What if your NAS had 5 NVMe bays, 10GbE, and no system fan?
Most NAS setups make you choose between speed, size, and noise.
The MINISFORUM S5 takes a different approach: a compact fanless 5-bay all-flash NAS built for homelabs, media libraries, creator workflows, and always-on services.
What stands out:
• 5× M.2 NVMe SSDs
• Up to 40TB all-flash storage
• 10GbE + 2.5GbE networking
• Dual USB4 40Gbps
• Intel Core 3 processor 304
• No system fan noise
That means you can keep fast storage right beside your desk, TV, or workstation without adding another constantly running fan to the room.
For a homelab, it can handle storage for containers, databases, local services, media libraries, backups, and other frequently accessed files — while 10GbE helps make better use of the all-flash setup.
The S5 is especially interesting if you're looking for something between a traditional NAS appliance and a compact home server.
Fanless. 5-Bay. All-Flash. 10GbE.
