I dreamt of my deceased brother in an all white place.

A few years back I was staying over at my big brother's house (seperate from the one mentioned in the title) and a few very strange things happened. I was sleeping in the guest room with the door closed, I was tossing and turning all night so I was up every hour or so. Firstly, after opening my eyes to roll over I heard someone walking just outside the door in the hallway, it was somewhere between midnight and 1 in the morning so I thought it was unusual but it must be someone going to use the bathroom, I waited to hear a door close open or whatever and mind you all his doors are squeaky but not a sound after the footsteps. I thought it was very creepy but tried to just play it off and I drifted off back to sleep. Secondly, the next time I opened my eyes the dogs were barking hysterically in the back yard, right near the bedrooms windows and my brother is a light sleeper, he ALWAYS gets up to yell at the dogs to shut up, but nothing not a peep, they eventually quietened down and I drifted back off. Thirdly, after falling back to sleep I had a dream where I was in this completely white space, there was no colour just bright white, in the distance in front of me I could see what looked like a hazy apartment style building, there were short steps leading up to the building and a short wall on either side. I could see people standing around, sitting on the short wall sort of casually chatting but I couldn't make out any features they were just figures blending in with the haze, but right in the middle of them standing out clear as day was my brother who had passed. He was talking to the others but he looked over and saw me, he gave me the biggest smile, ran down the steps and gave me the biggest warmest hug I've ever felt. He said he was so happy to see me, he asked how all the family were doing and told me that he missed us so much. It felt so normal like running into someone on the street that you haven't seen in a while. We talked for a little bit but then he looked back at the other people, then back at me and told me that he had to go but he loves me and he'll see me next time. I woke up feeling a mix of different things but I felt warm and a little sad. I had never dreamt of him before not even after his passing. Many of my siblings have but never once did I before that or even after that night. The next morning was my big brother's birthday (the one I was staying with) but we woke up to some really sad news. One of our cousin's and my brother's closest friend since childhood had passed away that night of a heart attack. We were devastated. I was too shocked to even think about anything but after a few days it hit me. I heard someone in his house that night, the dream I had, the dogs acting out. Not only do I believe our cousin came for one last visit to his best friend, I believe my brother came to get him when it was his time and stopped to visit me in my dreams. It's the craziest thing I've ever experienced in my life.
