Is Reach Stacker jobs worth it?

Hey everyone,

I currently work in warehousing and I’m looking at getting my RS (Reach Stacker) and CN (Container Forklift) licences so I can move into that type of work.

The problem I’m running into is that most of the jobs I’m seeing seem to require previous experience, even for entry-level positions.

For anyone who works in the industry:
How did you get your first RS/CN job with no experience?

Are there particular companies or labour hire agencies that are willing to take on newly licensed operators?

Is it worth getting both licences, or is one more useful for getting your foot in the door?

Any advice on getting that first bit of experience would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I’m based in Melbourne/Victoria if that makes a difference.
