I want to buy a device for long-term use, and I keep increasing my budget just to grab a good reliable device. Previously, I had decided the iQOO Neo 10, but then I found that by increasing the budget by just 6-9K, I could get options from the flagship series. So this is the last increase in my budget. My budget is now strictly below 60K.

I've picked these two devices: **iQOO 15R** and **Oneplus 15R**

>**Before going further, here is the ranking of my requirements:**

1. Latest RAM and Storage type
2. Optimized OS with minimal idle battery drain
3. Snapdragon SoC
4. 6,000mAh or higher battery capacity
5. Optional: medium screen size

#

# Thoughts about the iQOO 15R:

**Pros —**

1. Handy screen size 6.59inch
2. Slightly bigger battery (200mAh extra on paper)
3. Built for delivering raw performance
4. Thinner bezels and better color gamut, brighter HDR content
5. Comparatively better consistent photos, 1080p 240FPS video recording

**Cons —**

1. Runs on OriginOS, which has higher idle battery drain than ColorOS
2. Some users have reported heating issues (49% CPU throttle)

6. Better score in testing and have better stability (76% CPU throttle)
7. Better social media app optimization — Ultrawide camera support on Instagram and Snapchat)
8. Portrait video recording and 4K120FPS video recording support on rear camera

**Cons** —

1. 6.83-inch screen size, which might be uncomfortable to hold
2. Slightly smaller battery capacity (200mAh less) on paper
3. Inconsistent photos

This is everything I could think of about these two devices. Please share your suggestions on which one I should go with.

Thanks!
