Next Steps
Hello everyone! 😊
I’ll get straight to the point! I have a B.S. in Elementary Education. I started my teaching career but ended up leaving mid-year, so I don’t have much traditional classroom teaching experience.
Right now, I am working as a preschool Teacher Assistant, which has been much less stressful and has reminded me that I still really enjoy working in education. However, the position isn’t sustainable for me long-term financially.
I’m trying to figure out what career direction I should take next. Ideally, I would love to find something where I can use my degree and transferable skills, make at least $50,000 a year, and have good health insurance, Paid holidays, retirement, and other benefits.
I am open to education-related careers outside of classroom teaching, higher education, student services, administration, or even fields where my degree and experience could transfer.
Thank you!
