5 month old, sleep, and screaming...
Just wondering if it's normal for a 5 month old to scream themselves red, tired, and hyperventilating in order to sleep.
The thing is... she had 16 hours of sleep today, naps and night time sleep.
Yesterday, she had 14 hours total. Yesterday, she fell asleep perfectly content in my arms each nap and sleep. Didn't change that today, still rocked to sleep, same bedtime routine, and... yeah.
From my understanding, if they're screaming like that, they're usually overtired? But yet she had more sleep total today?
I've been following Huckleberry's suggestions for wake windows, etc. Usually 1.5 hour awake in the morning, followed by the rest being 2 hours, and the last stretching anywhere from 2 hours to 2.5 hours depending.
Why...? I thought teething might be a factor. She has her bottom two erupting right now. But it doesn't seem to bother her much during the day. She screamed so hard I was afraid the neighbor would probably think something was going on (duplex) similar to how she screams when she has her shots.
