Breaking rental lease question…

We just got the opportunity to buy a home (so exciting!) and we close on October 21st. However our renting lease isn’t up until July. I emailed them tonight… they knew already that I’m pregnant. I’ve rented here with them for 7 years, never caused any problems, always been super friendly and great tenants, even have had rent on autopay for the entire 7 years, even throughout the entire 2020 covid pandemic shut down… so I’m really hoping they are willing to work with us.

Has anyone else had to break their lease to buy their home and how did it go? I’m so scared and stressed and nervous. And I know I shouldn’t be stressing too much since I’m pregnant. But I’m so scared they won’t let us break the lease. Obviously I don’t expect to get any security deposit back… we just want to be out by 11/1 and can’t afford to pay our new mortgage and the rent until July.

Did this work out well for anyone else?
