Buying an Asus A15 for $507 USD from a Pawn Shop

:snoo_shrug: Discussion

My current Laptop that I bought not too long ago is a Acer Nitro V15 3050 6gb i5-13420H and 8 DDR5.

I bought it for around $620 USD, BUT, in another store location of the same company I found an:

Asus TUF Gaming A15 FA507NU-LP101W 4050 6gb Ryzen 5 7535HS, 16 DDR5 (Dual channeled) which was the surprise apart from the 4050 at 140w for just $507 USD. Which in my country and opinion felt like a really good upgrade from what I had.

Apart from the sidegrade of the processor which I'm aware of, is there something I should be worried about this deal? Am I making a good purchase? I'm planning to run all the tests once it's in my hands, and the store does offer a return policy.

The only detail I found on the laptop when I could barely check it without plugging it in, it was that the screen had those marks from closing the laptop before it cooled down, which I wouldn't mind as long as everything else works.

Thanks for reading.
