Looking at used BMWs on Marketplace. Most of them have bald or mismatched tires. So owners are this negligent ?

To be honest, I’m shocked.

The one I ended buying was listed because the owner couldn’t keep up with running costs. He had lost his job recently. And the car needed a short list of common failures item on this model.
The physical condition is very good! But mechanical, no so good.

Is it a common thing for German cars ?
