35M First time in Austin

I’m coming solo from Portland Oregon, some might say the Austin of the Northwest. Anyways a few questions

1. Outside of the festival what else in Austin should I check out either earlier in the day or after the festival? I was thinking of checking out a comedy show Thursday evening but outside of that I’m open to any after hour events after the festivities.

2. I have an Amex platinum, I saw they had an Amex lounge last year. Is it coming back this year, also is it worth checking out?

3. What’s the best BBQ place to check out before the festival starts?

Lastly I’ll be staying close to 6th street and I’m not sure if I want to rent a car as I’d rather not deal with Parking and I’m sure there’s things to do around there so recommendations around that area would be awesome as I’ll probably be ubering around
