Mods removed my post, but why (?)

So, earlier I posted asking a question if I would be able to text on my phone from California to Asia. Anyway, mods removed it telling me it lacked “revelance“. I asked that question because it would help if I could text with my family to help ease my fear of flying during the trip. Geeeze nothing like being judged for something so minor SMH!! Anyway, thank you to those of you who provided an answer to my question without finding it irrelelavant.
