Is it rude to bid FAAB just to deny rivals QBs?

We have daily waivers and my team is terrible... but I have Allen, Nix, Rodgers and Mendoza already.

Is it rude to bid on say Kenny Pickett with Faab solely in case Bryce's injury is more severe than expected and force the Bryce owner (A contender who ONLY has Bryce and Purdy) to make a deal or else eat some shit flexing a bench caliber player?

Happy to flip him back to you for a 4th sir...
