Pink Quicksand

How do you guys deal with and charge for work in an attic with blown in insulation. My daughter asked if I would install ceiling fans in the three bedrooms with no ceiling fixtures. No problem, you get the fans and I will get the boxes and wire. I pop up to the attic to get the lay of the land and see nothing, other than 12 inches of blown in insulation. No wiring, no plumbing for the sprinklers and no joists. It’s all buried under what seems like an endless sea of pink. The job is done except for making the attic not look like it’s been attacked by fiberglass loving gophers. How do you do this without feeling like you’re wearing a wool sweater without wearing a wool sweater. It was not fun.
