The writing character backstories and development really touched me (spoilers included)

I love the character back stories make Mike and Frankie make sense.

- Mike is kind of quiet and has limited stuff - precisely bc he grew up with family that didn’t talk much and dad was a hoarder. He falls for a lady that is warm and celebrated things bc that’s what was missing from his life. She is a disorganized mess and that doesn’t bug him one bit bc he grew up in a hoarder house.
- I love that Franky is warm but talks too much and overshares just like her family (her mom especially when she called customer service).
- found it really interesting that both kids end ups the act others best friends. Maybe they rubbed off on one another over time.
- both sue and brick are a bit socially off - wondering it that also is an extension of mikes >!family. Mike is loving but quiet and grumpy, and big Mike is even quieter. Hoarding lifestyle means no one comes over really. Socially off (though maybe unlocked hoarding as an effect of losing his wife)!<
