EVGA DG-85 HDD BAYS

I recently found someone selling a DG-85 in a marketplace, I wanted to use it for a home server build hybrid, but I noticed in a review that this version doesn't have all the drive bays, but the space for them is still there, as the DG-85 is essentially the same as the 86 and 87 for what I searched. So I'm wondering if I email EVGA would they sell me the drive bays, or at least, would there be any alternatives for them? I can't really find much info on the DG-85, not even the EVGA webpage for it is working properly.
