Question for employees

Hello, I was wondering If I went to a Popeyes store during slow hours when there isn't anyone waiting for order and there aren't any cars in the drive thru and politely asked the employees to please fry me a new batch of chicken let's say in this case it would be a 10 piece and told them that I don't mind if it even takes up to 45 minutes. Would that be ok? Would they be allowed to do it or would I be a nuisance? I only ask because the past 5 times that I visited the chickens ended up being old and we only have the one store in a 25 mile radius. Sorry for the dumb question.
