i'm a type 2 diabetic and my utis are getting harder to treat, looking for prevention strategies
i know diabetes increases uti risk and makes them harder to clear but knowing that doesn't make it less miserable. i've had five this year and my doctor is getting concerned about antibiotic resistance because of how frequently i'm needing them. i need to find a way to reduce how often i'm getting them in the first place because the treatment side is becoming its own problem.
been specifically looking for urinary tract support options that might be safe alongside my diabetes management. came across uro urinary health and the reviews had some women with chronic uti issues finding it helpful for prevention. i'd obviously check with my doctor before adding anything but i'm trying to come to that conversation with some options. anyone managing uti prevention alongside a chronic health condition
