The pedobaiting discourse needs nuance

Ari or any woman existing as a short woman ≠ pedobaiting. Rather, it comes down to her styling, mannerisms, and patterns (and there are plenty of examples!!).

I’m seeing some old images drawn in as pedobaiting evidence when Ari is just dressed sexually. Being a short woman and embracing sex appeal (though she did it really tackily) DOES NOT equal pedobaiting. It equals “grown woman being grown while also happening to be of shorter stature.”

As a 5’0 snarker I am tired of this label not being used with care WHERE ACTUALLY APPROPRIATE (plenty of recent and past examples!). It’s important that the word “pedobaiting” retain its true meaning and implications to strengthen our snarking, and it’s also important not to sexualize or demean petite women inadvertently just because they‘re short (this in no way links them to being child-like unless they CHOOSE, like Ari has, to be weird about it. please don’t be weird about it like she is). it’s all about context, styling, and mannerisms. thanks guys
