Upgrading from a 6 year old ips panel to OLED, differences?

Hello, I'm upgrading from a 6 year old ips panel, the LG 27GL850-B to and oled. It's a 1440p 144hz ips monitor. I find it's pretty good but I'm looking for a higher refresh monitor and the greater contrast and colors of oled. The hdr on my monitor just looks the same as the sdr to me. I was wondering with upgrading to oled will I notice a big difference? What was your experience with going from an old ips monitor to oled? I ordered a gigabyte mo27q28gr that is on the way am am looking forward to it. I was thinking of going 4k and getting the asus xg32uqwms but I think I'm going to stick with the m027q28gr unless it has bad vertical gray banding.
