Worked fine yesterday Ubuntu question

Today I enter my passphrase for the encrypted drive and the spinning white wheel of doom just keeps on spinning. I ran Ubuntu off my usb and went into the terminal and did all the stuff gpt told me to try, kept feeding it pics of my screen and still nada.

Calling it a night. I know there isn’t much to go on but should I just reinstall at this point?
