16-Team PPR – Trade Advice (Giving JT + Waddle + Aaron Jones + Broncos DEF)

Hey everyone, looking for some advice on a massive blockbuster trade offered to me in my 16-team PPR league.

I’m usually pretty hesitant to pull the trigger on huge 4-for-4 trades like this because a lot can go wrong, so I want to make sure I’m not blinding myself here.

The Trade:

• I Give: Jonathan Taylor, Jaylen Waddle, Aaron Jones Sr., Denver Broncos DEF
• I Get: Saquon Barkley, Malik Nabers, Chase Brown, Patriots DEF

My Team:

• QB: Matthew Stafford
• RB: Jonathan Taylor, Aaron Jones Sr.
• WR: CeeDee Lamb, Jaylen Waddle
• TE: Harold Fannin Jr.
• FLEX: KC Concepcion, Tre Tucker
• DEF: Broncos (Note: I also have the Ravens DEF on my bench, so losing Denver doesn't kill me)
• Bench: Devin Singletary, Tyreek Hill, Jalen Nailor, (1 open spot)
• IR: Jonathon Brooks, Tank Dell

The Context:

I ran this through a few calculators just to check market value. Flock Fantasy and FantasyCalc both say it’s a slight win for me. FantasyCalc says it bumps me from the 8th to the 7th best team in the league, pushing my RBs to 6th and WRs to 3rd. Even the FantasyPros tool says it increases my rest-of-season power ranking by about 3% because Saquon and Chase Brown are major upgrades over what I have.

Still, giving up Taylor, Waddle, and Jones all at once makes me nervous about ruining my lineup balance in a league this deep.

Questions for you guys:

1. How do we feel about Malik Nabers vs. Jaylen Waddle rest of season? Does Nabers' insane target volume outweigh the messy QB situation in New York?
2. In a 16-team league where top-tier stars are impossible to find, would you guys accept this to get Saquon and Nabers, or am I giving up way too much depth?
