Hi everyone,
My 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio makes a strange noise from the front wheels when turning. The previous owner replaced a CV joint, but it made no difference.
The strange thing is that the noise is not present immediately after starting the car. After driving for a while, it starts making this noise when turning. If I switch the car off and come back about 10 minutes later, the noise is gone again, but after driving for a while it comes back.
I've only owned the car for about two weeks, but according to the previous owner, this has been happening for around a year.
I also found some videos of Giulia QVs and Stelvio QVs coming off the track, and a few of them seemed to make a very similar noise. However, it definitely doesn't sound healthy to me.
The noise seems to be coming from the front wheels/axle area.
Has anyone experienced something similar with a Stelvio or Giulia Quadrifoglio? Could this be related to the differential, driveshaft, CV joints, or something else that gets noisy once it warms up?
I've attached a video with the sound.
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
